It is a truth universally acknowledged that an author with a book to promote must also have a blog. Since I dare not contradict higher powers, I welcome you to mine.
But I loathe the word blog. It’s so…blah. I prefer “diary”, as it sounds prettier and promises to be more personal, playful and sensational.
Though I am a writer, my entries here will not be exclusively about the act and craft of writing. That would be quite boring and could be summed up in one sentence: Today I sat at my desk, drank coffee, made up some stuff and typed it up. I’m far more interested in that fine line between real life and fiction…and crossing it whenever possible.
As I began this with a quotation, so I shall end it with one:
