I haven’t posted a blog in a while, partly because I was distracted by a few of my new favorite things…
1. Next time someone claims that romance novels are unrealistic and that passionate, romantic love doesn’t last forever, tell them new scientific studies show that True love can last a lifetime.
2. I loved the first season of The Tudors and I’m thrilled that season two is finally available on dvd. Now if I only had time to watch it…
3. My latest online obsession is the Prevention Magazine Health Tracker. Just add in foods eaten and daily activities to see how you measure up–calorie by calorie. The results are shocking and a great incentive to take more long walks with my dog.
4. My darlin’ BF got me Cesar Milan’s latest book, Be the Pack Leader: Use Cesar’s Way to Transform Your Dog . . . and Your Life. Within days, my sweet puppy Penelope has become much better on our walks–no more sudden stopping, or snarling at strange dogs! (thank goodness, considering the above). Because Penelope is pretty and puppies are cute, here is a picture of her:

What a cute dog! And thanks for the info on Prevention Magazine Health Tracker. It sounds like the perfect distraction. Not that I need more of those, but hopefully it will encourage me to hit the gym when I’m at a loss for how to start the next scene.
Hi Sarah!
The health tracker is the perfect distraction–totally time consuming but “for a good cause.” Good luck with the writing!
Good to see you back Maya. Happy New Year. I have to check out season two of The Tudors. I loved season 1.
Hi Kwana, Let’s meet back here to discuss season 2 of The Tudors…once we’ve seen it!
Penelope is a pretty girl and what a great name. Will there be a Ulysses in your/her future? Do tell.
Methinks there might be a Ulysses for Penelope and I
While she was named after the Odyssean Penelope, she was also named for the heroine of Romancing Mr. Bridgerton by Julia Quinn. You know, depends on who is asking!
