Maya Rodale

The Sinfully Seductive Rakish Rogue’s Mysterious Midnight Mistress of Pleasure.

Here’s the secret, darlings: I’m writing a new novel. The working title is:

The Sinfully Seductive Rakish Rogue’s Mysterious Midnight Mistress of Pleasure.

London, 1823. There will be princes & dukes, true love, sex, mischief, newspapers, swashbuckling, scheming, pretty dresses and more. So much more. But that’s all I’m saying for now.

One last thing…

My grand plan to blog about it regularly, as I write it. No spoilers, of course, but I might reveal a little secret or two here and there. I might blog about the chapter that I find the hardest to write, or introduce you to the hero and heroine before any else, or give you a sneak peak about the prince and the duke, true love and sex, mischief and newspapers, swashbuckling and scheming, and pretty dresses and more…

Aaargh, Kwana, I wanted to say the thing with the title! Now I have to think of something else! ;)

Well, I’m already very curious what this book will be about. I mean, besides the prince and the duke, true love and the rest of the long list. I’m already fascinated.

I’m not certain that title will make it 1) past my editor and 2) past the art department. How to fit that on a mass market paperback?

But still, I’m so happy to hear that y’all like it!

Yea!! I’m so excited to hear about the new novel!

It will be interesting to see if they let you keep the title. Maybe they’ll just shorten it a little. “Mysterious Midnight Mistress” or something.

This is SO exciting! I’m definitely looking forward to reading about how the writing’s going.
