Oh, wow, what a night! Lady Jane’s Salon hosted four outstanding authors who read excerpts of their books to a very packed house (or bar, rather).
Historical authors Diane Gaston and Amanda McCabe read from their novellas in the anthology The Diamonds Of Welbourne Manor.
Wendy Corsi Staub read from Dead Before Dark and scared me before bed. What do Wendy and Diane have in common, other than Lady Jane? Both have answered The Same Six Questions I Always Ask!
Marjorie M Liu read from two of the three books she has coming out this summer–Darkness Calls and The Fire King. It was her first time EVER doing a book reading and I was tempted to yell out “virgin!” but I thought that might not be very ladylike, so I whispered it to the lovely Lisa L who had traveled from PA to attend. Hi Lisa!

It was so great to see you last night, and again, I had a fantastic time. I am so glad I was finally able to attend Lady Jane’s-darn school and work getting in the way, lol.
