Lately I have been loving the following things:
Kenny Chesney’s song Summertime. I only allow myself to listen to this on hot, sunny, summer days when I’m in the car with the windows rolled down.
Sugarland’s new cover album, Live On The Inside, particularly their country version of Beyonce’s Irreplaceable. Gotta love a little twang.
My Klean Kanteen waterbottle, even though I am opposed to incorrect spelling for marketing purposes, I love these. Because it’s hot, I get thirsty, and I hate buying plastic waterbottles for environmental and cheapskate reasons. These stainless steel ones are indestructible and don’t leach out chemicals like some of the plastics.
My cowboy hat. Keeps the sun out of my eyes, and my hair out of my face. I wear it when I’m driving, and when I’m out working in the garden, and when I’m walking around New York City with Penelope, modeling it here. The star says “Sherif” and yes, I did buy it in the kids department.

And of course, watermelon, cherries, iced coffees, fireflies, thunder and lightening storms, swimming, and pretty sundresses. Any other fabulous summer things missing from this list?

Raspberries from the bushes between Sarah’s garden and Ummy’s swimming pool!!!
my garden, my puppy when he wants to cuddle and crawls right on top of me to do so, triple dirty espressos, italian ice, sparkly jewelry, and the beach!!!
Good ones! I love picking raspberries fresh from the bushes and I love it when my dog wants to snuggle, which rarely happens. Penelope is too cool for me!
Maya,
Penelope looks beyond adorable in the cowboy hat!
Water ice, white peaches, and a nice glass of cold crisp white wine in the company of good friends out on the patio. would be my contribution. And oh, wearing flip-flops everywhere.
Yes to the flip flops!
Amen to flipflops! And barbecues. And gelati!
The ocean on a warm, sunny day.
Nothing beats the sound of the waves breaking and the saltwater air. I’m in heaven reading a good book and sitting in a beach chair while the ocean breaks around me and the foam tickles my feet. In fact, I was reading The Rogue and the Rival at my last beach break.
